The programming team at the Design Exchange have been pulling late hours all week getting ready for the Play Nation show opening this Canada Day. Play Nation looks at the culture of outdoor recreation in Canada, and how our own hinterland has influenced the design of our recreation equipment.
DoUC have contributed to the show with a piece called Play Nation’s Playground. The installation is an exhibition-sized infographic which maps out the lengths and areas of Canada’s natural and manmade systems. The exhibition runs all summer long.
